HI!

I just got my new baby, this is a SS teal pearl. As far as I know this color is discountinued, the question is that since when?

If somebody has a detailed informations about the pickups output, it would be great to share with me.
( I'm thinking about the nekc pu change, because the distorted sound is not enough for me )

Thanks guys!

Finally here are some pictures about it:

Congrats on a great ax.

Dunno exact output but the stock singles should be DiMarzio MM custom wound, and if the HB is between post mid 2005 and 2008, it should be a Di Marzio Virtual PAF. If it dates before 2005, MM was using a Di Marzio MM custom wound HB.

I've found usually neck single coils don't distort as readily as the others.

Looks nice! I switched the single coils in my Silo Special for a Fast Track 1 (DiMarzio) like Vinnie Moore. Basically double the output of a standard single coil and hum-canceling. They still do retain a single coil feel, but great for shredding. Of course you can also get a Air Norton as a single coil too. DiMarzio is awesome! The Chopper also sounds good based one Andy Timmons amazing tones and Marco Sfogli also uses those. Anyway, enjoy the Silo Sp...very different from the others you have me thinks, but change is good.

I bought this one from an e-bay store, as a new guitar, but the guitar made in 28/04/2004

So, I think they had this on stock for a long time, because the price was very good.

The reason why I'd like to know the output datas is if I will change the pu-s, I don't wanna make a fault, to choose a pickup with too high output level..'cause after it won't be too much difference between the humb and single coil..
