It finally came!

So, after a total crap run in with DHL (apparently they don't ship to the U.P. of Michigan anymore because it is not cost effective...) I have my bongo 5! So glad I waited a bit and found a 5 in Egyptian smoke...pictures are on the way soon. Could someone from customer service give me the DOB? The serial # is F22342. Like I said, pictures are on the way.

I love it!

And yes, those are EB strap locks...put them on even before I'd played a note. Also, kind of weird...the Bass/Treble knob came EXTREMELY loose...I had to take both knobs off and tighten the pot down, no big deal, was just kind of surprised! Any chance of maybe switching at least the volume and mix pot for the knobs off a Petrucci? Is there any way to get just those knobs?

Each Time I see Egyptian smoke it looks different. A friend of mine got a JP7 in that color and it looks alot more green/brown-ish. Yours is almost pure silver, very sweet with the pickguard

oh yeah man. I used the screws that came with the guitar and not the ones that came with the straplock. they fit in there exactly the same as the original buttons did.

DAH!! And Here I thought I was the ONLY U.P. resident that played music man...oh well, the more the merrier! It's too bad there's no dealer up here. Maybe BP could make a few phone calls and get one up here. Id probably spend half my loan money on a new one every semester.
