talk bass....ripping us? I cant believe it.

Well it's like this, Seems everyone can throw a Music Man Pickup in their bass change the Body and that's ok but Music Man tries Something with Single coils and How dare they, I personally get sick of all that crap.

If Music Man decides to build a Bass with Single coils you can bet you'll still have that Music Man Vibe along with other tones, People have been coping the J & P Bass sounds for as Long as those basses have been around, go to Namm, Every Bass Company has 2 single coils in their basses these days.

So talk bass and the other whiners need to go back to Politics.

Maybe call it the Ernie.

I never forget that Ernie was responsible for....all this. Whatever "all this" means to you, but he wasn't overly involved in the instruments post-1984. For that, we get to blame Sterling.

Now if they ever tool up for a new version of the Earthwood.......yeah.

there is no chance on earth that it will be named sherwood.....it has a better chance of being the barry manilow sig before I would name it sherwood

Okay, that made me giggle.

We still need a John Ferraro signature model, don't we?

How about the name "Isis"?

In ancient Egyptian mythology the three letters SSS were the symbol of the goddess Isis - goddess of magic and life.

Also, I think it should be silver in color in recognition of the 25th anniversary.
