That was awesome. You guys know how to do sport as a huge spectacle. It was New Orleans Saints 37-32 San Diego Chargers for those wondering. High scoring game, great entertainment, just a really cool day. Although, there were a few confusing moments when my loose grasp of the rules got the better of me

Here's a couple of pics...

Beautiful pic's!!

However, I wish you could have gotten a "close-up" of the half time entertainment, and zoomed in on the MM guitar he was playing.

Or was it a MM?

And how about some cheerleader pics?

No pics - No cheerleaders!

PS I was at Upton Park yesterday - should have gone to Wembley on reflection! :(

Come on you GOOOOOONERS!:D

Well at least we played well and could have got away with a draw had it not been for the own goal (forcing us to push forward and then conceeding the second), and for that bloke called Adebayor!:(

Was expecting it to be a lot worse frankly...

We'll beat ya again next season though! :D

Last at Highbury, first at The Emirates

looks cool, great pictures. How did they promote it....was it "American Football"?

Here, we just call it football.....but then some soccer fan will say, "you mean American Football?" and they just get laughed at then ignored, haha!

Wow, great pictures!! Thanks for sharing. I live in California and still have never been to a game, though I love football.

(I like the guy in the Romo jersey ;))

Great photos. I was actually surprised to see the large number of NFL jerseys in the stands. The NFL must be more popular in England than I thought it was

The new Wembley Stadium looks great. But I definately miss the old Wembley.

Nah, it was billed as 'Like Girly Rugby with Crash Helmets and lots of Padding'. :D;)

hahaha, you're not too far off.

"owwww I stubbed my little toe, I need 6 weeks of physical therapy"

the players in the 70's were hardcore, they'd play with broken noses and fingers and various other breaks.

True, but the players from the '70's didn't make $10-15 million a season and most of them were too ugly to garner any serious endorsement deals :D

Haha. I miss it in the sense that it was legendary and a lot of very cool stuff happened there, but that place was a total dump, and a shambles of a building. The new one is utterly glorious.

Good point. I guess I'm missing it based on sentimental reasons. The new one must be a great place to watch a football match................you know, the game we really call football.;)

Fair point. I'll never forget seeing Queen at the old Wembley back in '86 (or West Ham's cup victories in '75 and '80;))

New one is much better and much better for football without an athletics track in between the stands and the pitch.

Even the re-vamped Arena is OK for gigs now! :D
