Stupid stupid me... I tried to fix a wood knob onto the volume pot, and snapped the shaft. Now I need to bring my guitar for a volume knob replacement.

Note: This is the piezo version. For all who are interested, I've "discovered" that the shaft is NOT 6mm diameter, but rather, 1/4 inch. ARRGGHH!!!!!:(

It's a 500k knob straight shaft. Pretty generic right? Easily replaced part? I've mainly seen only split shaft knobs on the market.

Okok... rant over... Just have to go get it done... stupid stupid me... *fume*

Silly Bugger.

You were obviously one of those kids who tried to force the blocks through the wrong holes, right ?

Nah too troublesome, get a new one instead. Call Justin quick!! :D:D

You think Justin can pull out a NEW 20th with piezo from thin air? He's a great guy, but I doubt he can pull off miracles. Wanna bet he's never even seen one in the flesh?:D (He'll see one when I bring it in this week.)

I STILL think your best option is to send it to me! ;)

The black metal knobs are lighter than the chrome ones, but not by much. Sometimes I think they would look cooler than the chrome ones that it comes with. I can't picture how it would look with wood.

I managed to get 2 wooden knobs in. They looked great. The entire guitar looked very boutique after that, especially since I had also changed my tuner pegs to Ebony.:D

But I'll make sure I buy 1/4" knobs next time.:(
