Psycho - that is because you ARE a king!

BTW - correction from earlier post: Rawson Music is in Oklahoma City, not Tulsa ... I always get those two confused ...

Just to satisfy my own curiousity, I wanted to find out exactly which one you got, in the order of production.

From what I can make out, the one in Sunburst that we displayed at the NAMM show went to our UK distributor, Strings & Things. The next one, several months later, went to a store called Rawson Music ... in Oklahoma City ... and guess who owns that one now!

I bought my first sunburst Music Man Bass in 1978, and after all these years I just love them, so I have to come back to my "roots" again, maybe I will keep this one...

Just got my 4th ever Music Man bass, this is now my only one:
Stingray 5, Serial No: E40596.
How about DOB?

Also have:
vintage Fender Bass V, from 1966: index
and Tobias DeLuxe 5 from 1998 too.

Greetings from Hellsinki, Finland

Hi Dan,

Can you please give me the BOD for E66912.
She was custom made to my order so I know all the details except for her birthday :D

Thanks.

My serial lists are meant as a ready-reckoner (only) to give a rough idea of date. They are not a complete data base.

Serial numbers for Pre-EB Basses don't exist so a comparison with other dated Pre-EB serials should be helpful.

As Ernie Ball has it's own data base for all their instruments, the date of an EB instrument can be obtained by posting in this thread and quoting your serial number.
Bongo 4h seriel # F08870 was wondering what year it might be

oli - she was completed on August 21 /2008. Enjoy!

Oh, yeah, I do, thanks Dan.

BTW, is there any chance you know how many StingRays were done in Desert Gold, especially in that combo: SR 4 HH in Desert Gold, rosewood with matching headstock (114-28-21-01)?

I have a feeling it could be a rather rare one...

oli, I don't know how you knew, but yes, you have a one-of a-kind instrument. There are a few other StingRay HH's in Desert Gold but no other with the exact specs you have. The closest is one built to the exact same specs but with a shell pickguard. ;)
