Neck And Fret Board Cleaning

Hi, I bought an axis about 3 months ago, amazing!! Do i clean the fret board and back of the neck with lemon oil? Do i need to take the strings off? When using gunstock oil, do i again do the back of the neck and fret board with the strings off?? Any help would be great

Hi wilderness - here's a link to the MM Guitar FAQ's page where the first question is about cleaning the neck of your guitar. Yes, take the strings off to clean the fretboard and neck. I think most folks clean the neck when they do a string change. Hope this helps.
