My latest MM toy arrived today, a Silo Bass guitar, I have been intriqued by them since I first knew they existed and since I was looking for something different to play with decided to go ahead and grab the on Pete had in stock.

Must say it is quite cool and very different for me, this one is tuned A-a, going to have some fun:D

Thanks Mr. Pete DuBaldo and of course BP and all at EBMM for putting out great guitars and basses, sometimes I really do think I am crazy:)

Now mandatory pics!

Actully Spud I am crazy but in a good way, I will see what i can do about the neck profile.

Thats pretty sweet. Fing, how many EB's have you owned? Still haven't found the one thats quite right I assume?

Phil

It is pretty cool been playing around with it and man lots of options you can run the PUPS in series or parallel with a 5-way selector giving you 10 tone options, going to take awhile to figger it out.

I have had quite a few and yes I have found the ones that are right just check my sig but like to try new things and this is one of them, thought about just buying a bass and still might one day but like I said have always been intriqued by the Silo bass:)

Thats actually Sapphire Black. I used to have a Bongo 4HH in that color.

-Phil

Fing, can you confirm the color? It really does look like black sparkle - and very cool. My Sapph black JP is much more gray....but it could just be the lighting.

You said it's a Silo Bass guitar, forgive my ignorance, but don't you mean it's a baritone guitar? Thanks for clarifying.

Capt,
As others replied it is a baritone but on the music man web site they refer to it as a Silhouette Bass, which I like the sound of better:)

Mike,

It is Sapphire Black, and I looked at your JP and the Silo does seem darker, may be lighting and my camera, my camrea works better on outside shots, I am going to try and take some today since it will be sunny:)

Yep, the Silhouette Bass guitar is the same as a baritone guitar.

keith, I'm glad it arrived safely! I'm gonna go play my Blue Dawn Silo Bass now

Nice snag and a great picture of the Sapph Black. I guess you never know which models will work best for you until you've tried them all. The Silo Bass always seems like it would be a fun compliment to have around. Enjoy
