Here's a honeyburst Silo Special. Pics might not be from the best angle/light.

Fogman has the pics - ask him

are you beyond "thinking" of selling your PRS?

Well I do really want a Silo, but in the end I dont think I can sell the PRS. Im sure Id regret it later on. Although Ive tried to sell it and I cant get what I want, and I have a reasonable price. As for trades, it would have to be the exact Silo Id want. So I think Im going to keep the PRS and sell other guitars, (Schecter Black Jack ATX with Duncan Blackouts and OFR in Vintage White and my Ibanez 1527 7 string with EMGs) . That should fully fund my Silo.

Then I have some Modding to do.......

1. Dunlop 6000 Frets
2. New 3 Ply Pearloid Pick Guard
3. JP Toggle Switch (in the "JP" Position)
4. Tone Zone Bridge Pickup
5. No Middle Pickup
6. Air Norton Neck Pickup
7. Master Volume
8. No Tone Knob
9. Graphtech Nut and Saddles

Ive been Gassing for a white Silo with maple fretboard with the above specs for a few years now!

I loved that one. Another Silo Special added to the list of "Wish I Would Have Kept it" guitars. Looked great, and it was the first Silo Special I'd seen with a heavily birdseyed neck.

Ahhhh, the one that got away . . . . .

I regret selling the 4 Balls I had.

1st was an HH Red Sub with Trem that I totally "JPed" Till I got #2
2nd was a JP 6er with Piezo in pearl redburst that I got thru Pete.
3rd was a Tobacco Burst Axis with Floyd
4th was a Silo in white with a maple Fretboard (same kind Im looking for again)

Pics of them........

I love the Silo stock pickups. Mine is a 2005 that came with the DiMarzio Vintage PAFs. Position 4 specially (middle and one neck coil) is amazing. Great cleans and great crunch I've never heard in any recording (though the artist I listen to the most to use just humbuckers with high gain amps). I have to try a SS in HSS to check out positions 3 and 4 to see if they're comparable. Plus I want a tremolo and maple neck for more vintage tones. That's for my next guitar :p
