Knuckleheads,

We have changed the body wood to mahogany, and also changed the mini humbucker to a custom Dimarzio.

These changes have given this model a fuller and richer sound.

Dargie,

If you need to get "rid" of one of the vintage non-mahogany Gold Rollers for cheap, let me know.

Dargie,

Will you guys use the same pickup ring style on the new DiMarzio customs? Or will you use the same PU rings used on 20th Anniversary Silhouettes (two bolts on one side and one on the other)?

Thanks!

I thought you were going to write "in lieu of Tim being so awesome and pushing so hard for the JP6, we're going to reward him with left handed Gold Rollers too... and left handed Albert Lee guitars.".

You didn't write that at all. :p

Would it be MY job then to tell YOU to "cut it out, they'll never do it!!!!!" ;)

I don't actually want a Gold Roller. I was just being sassy about it. Now, a left handed AL... after reading Rob's rants about how good they are... I really want one.... well, if it were left handed, and had a rosewood fretboard... it would probably take the place of my Silhouette Special. I'm a single coil kinda guy as of late.

I check the "BFR Picture Thread" every time there's a new post. I know somebody here ordered one from Pete D....but where the heck are the Gold Rollers? I've been wanting to see one and read first impresssions from those lucky enough to play one -- maybe even get a video or two.

So what gives? Have any Rollers rolled off the factory floor yet?????
