Last Saturday I had the chance to spend most if the day with Colin. We made arrangements to meet at his hotel and check out the Guitar Center on the Strip.
After spending plenty of time there and looking at a variety of stuff, I wanted to make sure Colin saw some cool things that he may not have had the chance to check out. The guys at that store are pretty cool and surprisingly it wasn't too much of a shredfest on the floor.
Some famous Rock photographer (his name escapes me) had a display up at the Hard Rock and there were some great pics. We went and checked them out and grabbed a beer and had quite a hilarious encounter with some older, severely under the influence, Texas tourists. What makes Vegas Vegas is that people have absolutely no problem being trashed at 2pm !!!
Colin is a great storyteller and had me rolling when one of the Texans mentioned that she was into some really crazy _ _ _ _ !!
I also made sure to take Colin over to The Palms just because it is a pretty cool place, not the cleanest, but still a nice joint.
Just wanted to say that I enjoyed the time, I wish we could have gotten together on Sunday but my little guy was pretty sick and it would have been a mess.
