So if the bass side is getting an Axis shaped 25th anniversary model, is the Guitar side getting a Bongo shaped aniversary model? :D

Seriously, I'm putting off my next EBMM purchase until these basses get into production. Can't wait to get my hands on one!! Good job

The bass looks really interesting, congrats to everyone involved.

I'm still waiting for a good pic of the headstock and the new tuners ;)

Hi BP,

Hope you and everyone here had a great Thanksgiving.

My wife and I have watched this program called 'Ace of Cakes' where a crew of bakers make custom themed cakes. The host, Chef Duff, is also a Bass player who is always shown jamming on a EBMM Bass.

The thought hit me that it might be cool to have him and his team do a show themed around the release of the new 25th Anniversary Bass you are designing! Since he is a EBMM player, he may love the chance to team up with you on this.

He seems like a really great, and creative guy and you know what they say about birds of a feather :D

Check out some of the themed cakes:

Anyway, just a thought :)

Now that gave me an idea. For my "next" wedding....a Bongo wedding cake..the shape would suit it very well.

Just need to find my next bride, which may prove more difficult then finding someone who can make me a bass wedding cake..

Hey BP! I know it's a bit off thread but I was wondering if you could pen a few lines as to how to lose a bit of weight. I am a big guy who really needs to reduce the waistline. When that new bass comes out I want to look as good as you do playing it! Good way to get back on thread eh? :)

This is an approved hijack as I am very happy to have lost about 60 pounds this year.....

ITs calories in and calories out...its retraining your metabolism by eating smaller portions every two hours...On my program I ate fifteen grams of protien every two hours and just ate sensibly cutting out sugar and processed flour and mopst bad stuff...I was never hungry and once you get away from the bad stuff you realize how bad and addicting it is.......I exercised once in Tokyo but that really helps and I need to get going on that to maintain that loss
