Definitely Moonstone and congratulations on finally getting a bongo, and fretboard wonderwipe that bad boy.

Thanks for the tip ekb16b, unfortunately yesterday I had no such thing as wonder wipes on board, but as soon as I got home this morning I have given it the full treatment and its a whole lot better now, as you can see in the link below, the thing is that being so new and never been played before it will need a bit of time for the mojo to set in and make it all nice and shiny.

I keep reading the thread title as Ron Burgundy Bongo, and then imagining an anchorman signature bass :O

I know you are right, this is quite misleading, but if you read it from the top you will appreciate that this rollercoaster ride went pretty bad up to a point, but thanks to many resourceful people things worked out pretty well in the end. :)

to summarize the above I was looking to buy a Rolls Burgundy, but that was gone so I ended up buying and paying in full for a Lava Pearl only to find out it had just been sold to someone else 30 min before me so I couldn't have it, my money was refunded but I was very disappointed and after a couple of days the distributor finally found me a Saphire Black 5 HH piezo which I jumped on it and kept it.
