that i was playing a very nice single H bongo with an all rosewood neck. i'm starting to imagine how it's gonna look from a playing perspective too....that's gonna be sooo fun and inspiring.

watching all those Big All/25th anniversary i feel i'm really going against the current with a single pickup bass....i like that ;)

Hmmm...you bass guys!!
Over on the guitar side we dream about girls!

I had a dream about trees the other night... there was this weird one I was looking at outside my grandfather's shed, and I was looking at it cause the roots were out of the ground and holding it up about 10 feet... I looked away and when I looked back it was gone. A few seconds later I realized I was dreaming... And then I started dreaming about girls:D

Obviously you've never held a Bongo....

Fidooda, I don't know if you've actually handled a Bongo or not. If not, you'll be amazed at how thin it seems, both visually and feel-wise. Far and away the most comfortable bass I've ever played. Everything else seems like a giant slab of wood by comparison.

I had a Bongo dream too. It revolved around a stealth Bongo 5 HHp. Then reality crashed in and told me 'stealth is not available with piezo' and my world was crushed. :( I know not what to do now...

If only it were that easy. I won't give up my dream of a Bongo 5 HHp though, but may have to get it in *ugh* candy red because Desert Gold is no more. If I could see orange firemist in person that could change my mind as I don't want to judge colors based on my non-calibrated work monitor.

Don't underestimate Candy Red.

A Candy Red Bongo with a black pickguard is as close as you'll ever get to the fabled Open House mahogany Bongo in appearance.

Like every EBMM finish I've ever seen, it looks MUCH better in person than in photographs. Miles deep, with lovely little sparkly bits.
