Nice photos of it on your website by the way, made me look at my old pics of it and made me realise just how much my guitar collection has changed since!

You should bring it with you for the UK forum bash in London later this year. ;)

Most kind Sir!

I've never rated myself as a photographer of any skill so it's nice to have one turn out and be appreciated!

The axe itself has received a tweak or two since those pics were taken - it now has chrome buttons, a chrome volume knob and chrome strap locks.

I've swapped pearloid buttons on my ASS too [see: MobileMe Gallery] - I just prefer the consistent chrome on my particular instruments. If I had an Al or Silo with a pearloid pick guard on it, I'd probably leave them on as there's something to compliment them.

Personal taste I guess.

The natural progression of life should continue

(this is directed at Radrock)

No guitars should be horded......

That purple one needs to go to make room for the next one......

Just go ahead and sell it to Nick and I'll buy it from him....just like the spaceball 3000

(ulterior motive? naaaa)

Horded? HAHA. I had to go through six EB guitars to finally land on Lucky #7! I'll put something in my will where if I die, there will be a forum raffle. :)

FWIW: This Music Go Round - Inventory Details is available at the Music Go Round in Littleton, CO.

It is a player with several chips and dings but seems to be in o.k. condition otherwise. I didn't specifically look at fret wear but it played o.k.

Since these are relatively hard to find, I though I'd give you guys a heads-up.

Trans purple is a tricky color to shoot. Depending on lighting, they can look blue to navy blue like the pics in that one. Also, I don't know if there's any fading involved (doesn't seem to be).

The Trans Purple now belonging to radrock is very lightly faded (headstock is the only place where it even remotely shows.)

I think my Trans Purple is up the dark end of the spectrum. Catch it in the wrong light and it's almost black.

Back onto the Hard tail point. When I got mine i thought that the only way you could buy an Axis was with a Floyd. The Axis Sport and ASS have too many knobs for me but had I known the Axis came in the non wobbly option I woulda been all over it....

If I remember correctly, the neck on that one is pretty dry....looked pretty thirsty to me. It's been there for awhile.....for the right price it would be nice player. I don't think it's worth the $950 they are asking right now.
