It is awesome that you still get the same feeling of excitement every time you play that beauty !!

very sweet. My journey into the land of JP6 started almost three years ago as well when I saw the man himself at the clinic Pete D. put on. I don't have that JP6 I picked up from Pete in April 2006 as I stepped up to a BFR JP6 but my love for the model itself has never faded.

...even after the BFR experience?

I was wondering when someone would bring that up! Yes... even after the BFR experience I think my Mystic Dream is still the perfect guitar for me in every way. The BFR was a mighty fine guitar, but I am no longer gigging and I felt that it was just too much guitar. When I ordered it I was in a band and playing often as well as jamming with some guys. The band fell apart and I moved off to another state so I'm not playing with anyone anymore. I ended up selling it and paying off my credit card in full.... The funny thing is that I miss the finished neck the most!
