local for me but not worth it for the price (at least for me)......but in the end it is worth what ever someone will pay for it...

These are pretty rare to find. On another forum, someone bought one for around 3k for the Cutlass I (StingRay version).

Only worth the price if you can play it and decide it absolutely positively is the thing for you.
Just remember that those graphite necks made by Modulus do not have a trussrod and thus are impossible to adjust. If the relief does not suit your playing and preference, you're out of luck. I was very short of swapping a Cutlass I for a 2001 NAMM 100th Anni StingRay (graphite neck by Status), but when playing them side by side the NAMM 'Ray clearly smoked the Cutlass in every possible way. The only advantage of the Cutlass was that it had no, and I mean absolutely no, dead spot or difference in sustain over the whole fretboard.
IMO, the Cutlass I & II prices are way out of proportion.

Not impossible, but very very very difficult.
I had a warped Steinberger L2 neck straightened, but it took forever and was REALLY expensive.

I should have bought the NAMM 100th when I had it in my hands at the guitar store...the status neck is a definite improvement over the Cutlass neck in my opinion. I loved the feel and sound the NAMM bass had...
