new EB strings?

can't seem to find a thread about this...but in the thread about the site redesign BP was mentionning new strings.

I see new coated guitar strings on the website. Can't seem to find coated bass strings. I'm guessing those aren't out?

When BP first introduced the guitar coated strings, myself and others asked him when and if the coated version would also be launched for the bass and his reply was something along the lines of "we are planning to launch them at NAMM '09, watch this space" or something.... So I guess they are imminent on his agenda. We better wait patiently as I am sure when they will be ready they will be as good as the guitar ones, I have fitted a set on my son's guitar and they really outperform all the other strings we've tried so far.
