I'm sure U2 collectively owns a ton of different instruments.

A couple years ago, I know Brian (the Edge) was using a Ray on tour for a very old U2 song, where he played a melodic octave-up bass line, while Adam played guitar.

Brian?? Isn't the real name of the Edge, David Evans?

Don't know if it's the same song, but in the 80's U2 used to play a song called "40", where the Edge and Adam Clayton swapped instruments.

A recent show on VH1 and they kept calling him Brian, 'Brian's guitar tracks', etc...
Doesn't matter to me really, not really a fan of the band.
