EBMM Silhouette special purple

I've just bought this one from ebay, mid 90s, VSVG bridge, grover tuners.

The seller said that the guitar is in good shape for it's age, when the guitar comes, which problems (frets, neck, bridge...) could the guitar have?

I would say if anything, a truss rod adjustment. Other things that might effect it are the frets may be worn, and it may need another application of oil and wax to the neck.

Guitars if taken care of don't have problems. Enjoy the Silo Special its a beauty!

Nice acquisition! Purdy Silo.

As far as I can see it looks like the fretboard needs cleaning. Murphys oil soap, and them wax and polish... like was mentioned above.

Nice! My first MM was an older Silhouette Special with that bridge. Fantastic axe.

Looks to be in great shape, and a killer colour. When you set it up, just check the frets in case they need a dressing, etc. Odds are it'll probably play fine without any work.

I have a problem now...

the seller (43bill --> idiot) canceled the transaction because I'm not in USA (I'm in Europe, Croatia), he didn't put any descriptions why he didn't want to sell the guitar outside USA, I mean... I would pay in ADVANCE for the international shipping + guitar. Don't see the problem.

Ultimately, that is his choice. Does the auction say "ship to United States" and nothing else?
Sometimes it is not worth the hassle to ship overseas. Customs can be a real pain in the arse.

I'm begging him a lot for now. Can't find a decent silo special anywhere, this one seems perfect to me.

That's how I got my 20th... I was outbid by someone in Europe. However, the seller didn't want to ship out of the US, so I got a 2nd chance.

Sorry bro, but I am sure you can find something in Europe. Keep searching.
