^ SirSpud is correct. They hang and sit on the body really nice. And a blast to play... my 1st electric was a F-S-deluxe with lace pu's. I am glad it was sold to buy food,beer and rent (I was 23 and unemployed)

The model with MM90's is beginning to be particularly interesting... oh how I can't wait to finish school.

I like both the MM90's and the SSS on my AL's. The MM90's are great because you can roll off the tone/volume and the pickup performs beautifully.

Gotta say I suppose I like the MM90's on my Al because of the rosewood board - I'm sure they would sound the same with maple.

They sound similar on maple, more of an open sound Ive found. either way they kick ass.

The MM90's just have a bit more grunt to them - they still retain the sparkle of the SSS. Just don't expect them to perform like a humbucker.
