Went to see Lucious last night and like every time I saw him, the concert was a blast! OK, the soundquality at the venue was rather bad, but the performance included blistering versions of Hero with a 1000 eyes and Shine on you crazy diamond..If you haven't got tickets for a show, get one, you will NOT regret it!

Now the MM part. Of course Lucious played Lukes (black sparkle, dargie, BFR BBB), but the best part was that during several songs THE WHOLE BAND played MM! Ricky Z played a BFR AL, and Carlitos a white Bongo 5 HH. I could swear I also saw a 25th anniversary bass on a stand, but he didn't use it.

Afterwards Luke was so kind to sign my LE Luke, and I had to send some cheerios to the fellow knuckleheads.

Thanks Luke for the awesome show! You are a cool cat!

Went to Lucious yesterday in Maastricht and what a blast indeed. The sound quality was not that good but Luke (and the rest of the band) had a lot of fun on stage and I think that's what it's all about.

I spoke with Calitos at the end of the show and he said he helped design the 25th Bass. Leaves me wondering why he didn't play it if he helped design it. (I Guess that the Bongo is just killer :p)

I am now seriously GASing for a Luke and a BFR Al! (the last one looked and sounded awesome!)

Oww and by the way...if any of you guys now who the girl on the V.I.P. balcony was...let me know ;)

The show was awesome. Any of you who doesn't have any tickets for upcoming shows...GO GET EM! :D

Where in Maastricht was the concert held? Just curious. I have ex-family in Maastrict area. Ain't nothing better than Limburg cheese and Brand beer baby!

And I totally agree with Big Poppa, if the dude isn't going to play the 25th then he should fork it back over.

The concert in Maastricht was held in a venue called La Bonbonnière, which is I believe near the Onze Lieve Vrouwenplein (sounds pretty stupid in an english sentence:eek:) If all goes well I'l be living in Maastricht in April...so if you want to play some Lukes Jim..:p

+1 on the Brand beer haha

Carlitos had nothing to do with the 25th...that is not a fair statement if he said it. I also need it back if he isnt going to play it

I only posted what I saw (not playing the 25th) and what he told me (helping design the 25th). Could have been a misunderstanding but as far as I know my english is pretty decent.

Better let BP handle it since we don't have the correct information. All I know is that when Carlitos showed me the 25th, I saw a mighty fine instrument

Oww and by the way: +10000000 on Brand beer

Yes, you will need a white marker and yes, unless there's a way to order another cover, the chance that the signature will rub off is quite big..Luke also signed my other Luke a few years ago just under the neckplate, and the kisses, hugs and year of the signature are almost gone now:eek:

You can also take the neck off, put it in your trousers and let Luke sign the back of the headstock:p

Thanks for your help on this but i have been left with a rather strange mental picture of my whipping out the neck of the guitar out of my trousers and handing it to Lucious to sign.I not at all sure he would even want to touch it having been down there.

Hee,sorry but i am laughing like a schoolboy right now.;)

PS i'm not been disrespectful.

Superb - My band gig pretty much every Friday and Saturday, but for the first time in years we have no gig this Friday - but one on Sunday, so I've scored tickets to see Luke this Friday.....Taking my dad as in his years of playing, he's seen pretty much everyone except Steve....

I'd estimate it was about 50/50 between the 25th and the Bongo tonight. And he held it up for everyone in the audience to see when the band said their goodbyes...I think he likes it ;)

Great show, I think I had more fun than when I saw Toto. And Satzvey Castle really is a special venue.
