Tony's Bass eye view from a rehearsal with Peter Gabriel...from his Road Diary...

See anything different on his bass? Boy there's something about that top and those buttons..

Can't wait for this tour.

Tonys 25th pickup config

BP,
What pickup config is Tony using on that 25th, HH or HSS?. I am about to order one of those.

I have 2 Bongo's in the pipeline, thought with the SR5 I'm good, but I don't think so, the 25th HSS is calling, 3 pk'ups, maple top with the mahog. block has to be killer. I'm in regardless, but I hope a video review by Ed Friedland can happen. I bought my SR5 after watching his You Tube demo, I think he's the best reviewer out there. Man this company is addictive, you guy's are the home run kings of the guitar biz !!

The funny thing is that I dont think that Ed Likes our stuff very much

Really? I had the feeling he loved the SR5 HH and the Bongo6 HS when he reviewed them, specially the part in which he descrived the Stingray low B as "The Thunder of the Gods!" Oh and at the end of the Bongo 6 review he is sitting on a sofa soloing with a distinctive look of satisfaction. Had me sold!

I don't really know any music from Peter Gabriel, otherwise I would have attended that concert just to see Tony. Oh, and if I hadn't attended the Santana concert the week before  tickets are too expensive here.

So I would guess the product really speaks for it self.... That is an endorsement that no amount of money can ever buy. I mean imagine this as the ad's catch line " Loved by even those that don't like us!!" BP your company and employees never cease to amaze me!! I got to start saving more money for more EBMMs:)

Ed once said he only played Fenders and some other make. I think he digs what EBMM sends him, he just doesn't connect with it.

Wowser, I didn't get that impression at all from the Bongo 6 and Stingray HH review. I guess that is both a credit to his objectivity as a professional and the quality of you all's fine work. These two reviews really helped solidify my switch to the EBMM camp, and hearing is believing, especially when watching side-by-side with reviews of other brands to remain nameless.

I believe that your loyal following and the quality of the products really speak for themselves though.

As for the 25th... Mr. Levin's comments really help add to my excitement... I must have one. :) I'm thinking "Blank Plank" too. :) I recently had an epiphany that I will never play another fretted instrument again.
