Does anybody have any pictures of relic'd Balls.....or for that matter heavily played balls? I can't say that I've ever seen a relic'd one. I wanna see some wear, battlescars, dirty maple (Az), etc....

Relic a Ball?! duck rock....sidestep sticks....dodge bullets....duck another rock.

Haha, yeah. Steve Morse said he did that when he had a cast on his playing hand, and had to do a Deep Purple Gig, I think. He just took it into his garage and sanded it right down. Thus, the 5 Bolt Music Man neck was born.

This is my 1989 6 bolt. The finish on EBMM's seems bombproof. Theres a little bit of rust on the screws,a bit of forearm wear ,some scratches on the back and a touch of fret board wear. My 1990 Silo is pretty much the same. [/IMG]

I plonked my strat onto myb bed this afternoon, and it landed flat on the lower horn of my JP by accident. Didn't leave a dent!!! Thank God Fender uses nitro! Hahahahha...

My Morse has seen a good deal of wear and tear from its previous owners. It's cool that each scuff, ding and scratch actually has a story behind it (like my buddy, the previous owner, who somehow managed to drop the thing in his driveway while it was out of the case). It's preferable to telling people that you got that forearm wear straight from the factory via belt sander.

Yeah, I never understood that "worn from the factory" thing. It's like how they sell cool jeans now, they are totally worn down with holes in them. Does it not defeat the purpose of wearing it down yourself?
