I think they used the "ugly stick" to make that headstock.

This Hamer "Slammer" stuff is garbage. I wish they would get back to making the instruments they started out making. I had a early 80's Hamer doublecut guitar for a while and it was a great guitar.

I own several Hamer usa basses. FMIC bought Kaman wich owned Hamer. Hamer usa is built with great attention to detail. It saddens me to see the company logo on the imports, even more so because Hamer did it before Fender bought them. I do think Hamer usa is very nice quality. Jol D. isn't too fond of the imports.

BTW, I hadn't seen the fakeray before.
