Yep, I still play with McGuffey Lane but not on bass.

I am a proud Columbusite - DeSales grad, OSU grad - grew up by the Circle (when the neighborhood was nice) - took lessons at Sonny's Guitar Shop and then from Karl Gunther.

I want to say I caught you at Hoggy's (my parents now live off of 62 in Gahanna) I have seen you a few other times but it is escaping me for the moment. I did like what I heard (unfortunatly I was only there for about 3/4 of a set). I will definately check you out and introduce myself the next time I roll into town.
cool. Please do!

I have seen MLane soooo many times that it all runs together (usually there was beer involved so it gets a bit foggy anyway ) - they have been a staple of the CMH music scene for a long time... very cool.

Resurrecting an old thread. I've been in Columbus since 1988 and have seen Molly play with lots of people over the years. I'm usually a guitar player, but picked up bass this year to play with Jacked Up 2010 (still no new photos with me in them). I was in the tiny town of Mt. Vernon with some of my wife's family earlier this year and Molly was playing in a tiny place (Flappers) with John Schwab and drummer Randy Huff. I've played with John a bit here and there and Molly may have seen me play before (with Mother Trucker - we played right after Ladies of Langford in 2008 at Fado on St. Patrick's day), but I'd never played with Molly or Randy. I've been playing forever with all kinds of bands and I usually don't get nervous. But John had me get up to play & sing with Molly and Randy and I don't think I'd been that nervous in 20 years! I didn't feel worthy. LOL... I think I need to do it again to feel more comfy. You listening Molly? ;-)

Yeah, Molly rocks! :)

I admire her, she's wonderful bass player!

I must admit that this video made a big influence on me to buy Sterling 5 HS! ;)
(and another one from "Bass Whisperer", of course)
