This morning, I received a black box from Belgium :

What's that :confused::confused::confused: ? 2 choices :

  • a giant box of Belgian chocolates
  • a guitar
If you choose the first answer, please visit this site : Leonidas

If you choose the second answer, you are right :

Beware : pornography starts here. If you are under 18 years old please go there.

Yes, it's a wonderful Axis Super Sport with P90. It was previously owned by TwAn. This top definitely sucks :

The guitar is in perfect condition, TwAn is really very careful with his guitars :):):).

This guitar sounds as good as she looks :

The silent circuit works very well. Back in Black : the back is really a very good mirror :

Conclusions : I made a wonderful transaction. The guitar is perfect and Mister TwAn is a real gentleman. It was a real pleasure to deal with him (highly recommended ;)).

Thanks again TwAn !

Super nice, that is a great looking guitar you bought and Twan is a cool dude, congrats:)

TwAn is a really a great guy to deal with. It's the first time I buy a second hand guitar on Internet and it was definitely a great experience thanks to TwAn :)

And you say that I am addicted
ahahahahah Congrats a nice piece yo have here :)

You're right David, but you still much more EBMM than me ! ;)

Congratulations she is beautiful !! You become a collector?
I am not a collector, because I believe that the P90 sound will be well suited to my band's sound. I bought it because I need it (but ok, my wife seems to disagree ).
My band mates were really impressed, so it seems that it was a good choice.

Congrats .. And a very nice top indeed.. And a cool cat prowling the scenes to boot ;)..LOL.. Hope you Enjoy her..
My cat is a real star and she likes to hold the pose on pictures. She even wanted to play with my guitar :D All the cats have an inquiring mind.

After 2 rehearsals with my band and quite a lot of hours with my new baby, I start to have a good idea of the sound you can get with my new baby.:)
I played with my Blues DeVille, my Marshall DSL401 and quite a lot of stompboxes ...
The P90 are able to behave like humbuckers (you can play some Dream Theater) thanks to the silent circuit. With the DSL401, I played with full gain and there was no noise at all. Amazing.
But even with a lot of gain, the P90 keep a lot of clarity.
The clean sound is great and the crunch is amazing. I am really impressed by the versatility of the P90.
If you play just heavy metal, the humbuckers are great, but if you need to have a "rock" sound with more edge, the P90 are a nice option.

By the way, I posted new pictures (full resolution) here :
