So my BFR Rswd. Bongo came today, I been playing it on and off but mostly on for a couple of hours. I had a stealth for maybe a month and sold it to order a reg black HS as I will have 3 HH MM's. I can only say while I still feel there isn't a bad model in the lineup, there is something about the Bongo that
just gets me. I have to say this new one is my dream bass, and being a grey beard, I've had a fair amount of the whole gambit go through my hands over the years. Tone wise it's amazing but I think for me it's the neck/board that
is is blowing me away, I am freaking pumped. Of course it being a stunner sweetens the whole deal. I posted real pics taken by TPB, but here are a couple of "in the house shots" Thats my story, I'll shut up and go play somemore.

The rosewoods are the cream of the Bongo crop. I would say at this time that my bongo's rosewood neck is the best five string neck that I have ever played- we'll see :) .

Thanks all, I agree this neck is amazing, it's feels like I've been playing it forever, right out of the box. Rick

That's beautiful. Red with a tortoise pickguard is beautiful, let alone the redwood neck! I can see how it's a dream bass.

Thanks all, it really came out perfect. EB/MM are amazingly consistent in turning out great instruments day in day out. I sold all my other brands , I'm
there, these basses give me everything I could want, all you need is one, but I'm quickly finding out thats impossible.

MONKEY!!!!!! Hows it...

HIjack sorry

It's good, thanks. I'm really glad we made the move. My life is a lot less stressful here and Louise and the children love it. The only negative is I still haven't found a band to play in, after 7 months being here! I'm hopeful still.
