I was bored and looking through the net, and found this:

'In 2005 the StingRay 5 has been updated with two humbuckers or a bridge humbucker paired with a neck single-coil pickup and a 5-way pickup switching system and the following year Music Man released a Limited Edition StingRay 5 featuring a 5-bolt neck plate, no pickguard and an ebony fingerboard.'

Was there really such a bass? I can't remember that one, but then again I can't remember many things.

Gotta love Wikipedia...

From "The Office"

Michael Scott: Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information.

Yeah, Wiki. So does no such bass exist? I originally thought it could be the blue BFR...was that a 2006 thing?

oh btw.. didnt bp try to edit that wiki?
and got the edit refused?

to me that is like saying 60 grit sanding paper works very well as toilet paper... and then the inventor of that paper wants to say: nah, it doesnt, but its da bomb for sanding things, but he cant.. since there are more people who bleeb the sand paper story....

Maybe we should start a Knucklehead task force to enhance Wikipedia instead of spreading rumours and pointing out the flaws of an open knowledge exchange platform... I don't know Jack (how true!) about the SR5, so I'm definitely the wrong person.

It would be cool if all the EBMM limited runs were added, with exact specs and a pic submitted.

However, if EBMM staff is already at it, I wouldn't want to interfere with that.

Thinking of it, Wikipedia would be the absolutely best place for Gavs huge knowledge base.
