Black all the way, to me the pkgd' makes the finish more focused and striking sans the Mets Logo. Bass-Ball not Baseball.

That's what my bandmates say....keep your baseball off your bass!!

I do happen to have a very slick Custom-Blue Suede Mets Strap!!

It's not just about the color. It's about shapes too, and contrast. Ask your artist GF about this.

A guitar's overall look is just as much about the PG as it is about the body shape IMHO.

I totally Agree...just leave my Mets out of it!! lol. Nah, seriously, I have been thinking of removing the decal. The shape of the PG definitely adds to all that is a Stingray. Although I have an SR5, it's not as appealing to me as my SR4.

I'd love for her to make something custom. Perhaps she can paint (design)the bottom of the clear guard and then add a protective clear coat??

I prefer the clear ,but use em both .How about white or vintage white pearloid? Would be a nice look on that beauty.Way to go.

I like both, but i think clear is more original... what about a not totally clear, kind of translucent pg in some orange-red tone. i think that will be cool

I'd go with the clear PG but paint or mark the outline of the clear PG with black so you can see the classic shape.

Sounds like a cool idea. I might see if I can by some window tint to add to it and perhaps give it a smoked look.

I decided to bring a 3rd pg into the fray. I just order a smoke colored mirror pg, as I also happen to be a big Phil Lynott/Thin Lizzy fan....
