No punch and noise sounds like a wiring issue. Maybe one of the solder joints is cold. Double check your color coding as well.

2 : The wiring is completely different if you want the inner coil active when split :
* The red wire from the pickup is soldered to the white solder pad on the PC board.

* The black pickup wire is soldered to green on the PC.

* The green pickup wire is soldered to black on the PC.

* The white pickup wire is soldered to red on the PC.

does this mean on a silo where the red wire goes is were originaly the white one was and etc.... silos dont have a p.c pad

Hey Dean... I think the caveat to all those threads is that they are talking about putting a D Sonic in a pre D Sonic JP. I am imagining that the silo might have some slight differences... especially since you have a different kind of selector switch (I'm assuming). I haven't even found a four pole three way lever yet. :( Maybe you've had better luck.

If you're using a four pole 5 way, I'm guissing there are just more options to throw a little curve at you.

By the way... we're sharing cd space on the Deliverence tribute!!! :) Raymond told me you guys were doing songs and I was like... "ROCK, we're on the same record as Teramaze!!!!" :)

Dwells, if you don't have it figured out yet, shoot me a PM. If it's all good to go, then AWESOME!

What pup config is your silo? HSH? HSS? Also, send me a pic of how you've got it wired up and I'll help you sort it out.

If I'm understanding correctly, you have the D-Sonic in the bridge with the solid bar toward the neck. You want the inner coil (solid bar) active when the bridge pickup is split. If you have the standard Silo 5-way switch this shouldn't be an issue at all :D
