Yeah +1 SSH w/ a Rosewood board, has to happen, even though having the teaser pics available all this while seeing them roll out is damn exciting, man they pulled out all the stops on these.

Same 11" radius and same neck width 1 3/4 & 2 13/16ths as the Bongo 5 string minus two frets so it should be really close which is one of the reasons I will get one, hopefully sooner than later. What an unbelievable new bass, imho it's definitely an "uber" bass in every way.

Are the lables for the controls on a static cling film so it can be removed? Looks like it.

The control label is just like the bar code sticker on the back, the static sticker type stuff.

Brandt, it sure looks like it, my flavor will be SSH, flame top, rswd board only. I'll probably send the balance on my Black Bongo next week and then move on to the new quest for the 25th. Somehow, someway it will happen. Can't wait to hear some reviews.

There really should be a left hand version of this, for the historical significance... yeah, that's it!


EBMM has a long history of looking out for the left handed bassist and to this day offers more options for the lefty than any other company. I sure wish this was one of them, it's one of the best looking instruments I've seen. I can't wait to hear one, but I'd buy one sound unheard because it's a Ball.
