Been a while.

I've been balls deep in life as of late. I've been working myself silly, and just been trying to keep my head above water. I think all the hard work is paying off because things are finally starting to come together. My buddy Scott (leftyguitarblue) said to me today that I should come say hi sometime, so here I be!

Looks like I've missed some. A recessed Floyd Silhouette seems to be the most exciting thing going... I haven't really looked to see what else. Looks great nonetheless!

After some hard work and abstaining, I should have some new pictures of things coming up soonish. Just wanted to drop by and prove that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth.

LMAO - jeez, what is it with this preconception that everyone seems to have ???

Welcome Back Jimmy - you poor, physically retarded bugger. ;) :D

(Just kidding mate - good to see you back) :)

Dizz..... You're "tribute" (if that's a sarcastic enough word) in Jimmy's "left handed" thread for lefties was among the first threads I ever read when I joined this forum.

Your reputation with lefties is legendary!!! :D

Ahh, the warm welcomes and retarded cat-calls... So lovely to be back. Hahaha.

I've been trying to get my life in order. I'm moving into a new place tomorrow and have been enjoying my job a lot. I'm working at a nice guitar store calls Avenue Guitars up here in Edmonton. Until Big Poppa offers me a job with the company I'll keep working in the guitar stores. Yes, we sell the Music Man. We've been selling the basses far more than an other brand.

Being here allows me to know what we have in stock all the time. We have some copper colored Sterling with the recessed neckplate selling new! That's rare I guess.

Anyhoo, being left handed might suck if I supported any other company... But I chose widely in being a MM guy. I'll have a JP by years end. Woo!

We have a couple JPs here with the fancy piezo and stuff... And it just isn't for me. I haven't used an acoustic guitar in a very long time and just don't feel the need to. I don't believe a BFR without piezo has ever been offered so I think I'm just going to go with a nice regular JP. I have been playing through an Engl Thunder 50 and a 2x12 Soldano cab. I have to say that I love the sound. I'm not a huge humbucking fan for my bluesy stuff but now I'm playing some heavier stuff and find that the single coils aren't just enough. I decided this... Yesterday. Hahahaha.

hahaha, you're the best Tim. from single to humbucker to single to humbucker. It's the eternal struggle.

The JP will have your back for all your needs.

Scott, I've never left the single coil side of things. I've just been struggling with the whole humbucker idea. My issue is that I keep comparing them to the singles. It's stupid because they don't sound anything alike. I've finally come to terms with it.

Now I'm going to get the JP and then after that I'll be decking out a Silhouette Special with an Andy Timmons Dimarzio and a few Cruisers. I *really* like what Timmons is doing.

But yeah... Quote of the year. I've never been very good at censoring myself. I can turn off the cuss words but that doesn't really affect what I say.

Yeah...I think getting the JP first is a must for you Tim.

You don't need to curse to get your witty point across my friend...your twisted mind doesn't require the sprinkling of an expletive to render a classic quote.

"... twisted mind..."

Really? I guess I can't really deny it. But sheesh. All you've ever done is read my posts. It's not like you've hung out with me to know it for certain!

[it's true though... *ahem*]
