Was on TB a while ago and saw a pic of Grog from "Die So Fluid" with what looks to be a Sterling maybe a Stingray cant really tell... So i thought id be kind and share with my fellow MM brothers and sisters. If you havent heard of Die So Fluid check them out. Theyre a UK band and kinda on the heavier side so probably not for everyone, but i dig em. And you can never go wrong with a gorgeous bass playing front woman plus she comes up with some catchy bass lines, not overly complex but catchy...

Thats a 2 band eq Stingray, an older one, its got the old ( larger ) bridge

rock on, just out of curiosity how can you tell? the # EQ knobs? I cant really tell a diff in the bridge. but now that you made me look closer, it looks like theres a truss rod adjustment hole in the headstock which im def not used to seeing on a MM, and it looks like the headstock might be a pre EB?

Smokin hot! I would come out of retirement to run sound for that band.

Very cool. Watched the video to the end, which is a good sign. As Bill said, the SR4 in the pic is an older one 2 band EQ. I'm not an expert in headstock logos but I cannot see the EB logotype there, so it even could be a pre EB.

However, the burst G&L in the video looks just wrong (not bashing the G&L just the looks). She should sling an Ebony SR4 or a stealth SR4 HH or evene a Bongo. An all black bass would suit her and her style.

And the guitarist needs a different shirt.

Bottom line: If you can't criticize their music, bash their apparel! ;)

You can also tell by the trussrod adjustment in the headstock.

saw her in BGM last summer, she's got a nice rack :p some cool basses too, though it said she played exclusively G&L tribbys (why a tribby?), obviously that's not the case!

I've listened to this a few times since you've posted the YouTube link now, and what a great chorus and the second half of the bridge is like a ton of bricks. I love it!

I agree totally. They have a few more vids on youtube you should check out too. Happy Halloween is another good one, although i will say the video is a little too on the morbid side for me.

really? well i guess she does sport the G&L in most of the vids. shame, the MM is much sexier and would no doubt sound better as well...
