Your Ideal G3

Well, basically as the title says: Who would be your 3 top guitarists to take part in the G3? *You can come up with three new guitarists or be realistic and come up with two while Satch still hosts it.*

For me it would be: (No specific order)

~John Petrucci
~Joe Satriani
~Andy Timmons

Also, Ernie Ball should do a version of their own G3: EB3 consisting of artists that play EBs. My pick for that would be..

That was one of the best shows i've been to. I had front row seats and I could literally detune one of their guitars. Of course I would never do that.

One thing to keep in mind is that a lot of guitarists are used to playing songs with lyrics. Also Not all of them could hold their own against some of the other guys whos careers are focused only on creating solo compositions.

That is why I think Herring and Anastasio would shine. I just threw Joe Walsh in.

Oh wow, this is a hard one. South America got a really great G3 which was Petrucci, Satch and Eric Johnson. Wish I could have seen that one!!
