Very Nice! Those RW necks sure are unique. They are a great option for those who wanted a proper BFR without a finished neck!

Awesome stuff Steve, but you're missing a string! :p I'm glad I got in on the rosewood neck MD, you're right in that it's definitely a great-looking combo! Huge congrats! Now, get back to studying sir! (good luck with that! :D)

You know. I was thinking about getting the MD instead of OG when I called Pete.

Scoob, we could have ended up with each other's guitars...

Thank you for all the kind words! Yeah being a college student and a EBMM fan is a terrible mix. It wasn't easy that's for sure.

A lot of peanut butter sandwiches.... not even with jelly...... LOL

The terrible thing is I already have another axe on my mind, Silo or Al! AHHHHH! G.A.S.!

GAS is a killer! Especially the EBMM kind. :D You have a fine looking guitar there. You're right, the RW really compliments the MD well. Well, living in LA and being an English major.....I see big scripts and novels in your future and lots of Balls.

Haha, thanks man. :D

Just got finished after work playing on this thing. And wow, I thought the EBMM maple necks were out of control! This RW neck is outrageous! So smooth, like fine silk. It's a bit warmer than the maple, but each string and note still has that same beautiful pronounced clarity.

A total killer, I'm sure BP and Crew may crank out some more in the future.

The RW Neck series aren't done to order are they?

Unfortunatley, they are done. I think the order window was open for 30 or 60 days. Something like that. For me, it was a classic case of you-snooze-you-loose. One of my biggest regrets (at least in terms of guitars) was not ordering one.

it was 30 days. November 17 - December 17, 2008. I'm glad Pete Dubaldo ordered a couple left handed ones. He's good like that!

Best headstock ever.

I was initially a bit hesitant with the finished natural RW headstock, but after getting used to it, I genuinely wouldn't have had it any other way.

The earthy tones provided by the RW with the MD finish is seriously compelling. Earthy and Mystical, might have to end up naming this girl Aurora Borealis!

My band mates made some serious comments about this guitars tone too. I was playing a custom LP, which has a very fat, thick and resonant sound. I got the same lovely warm sustain but with better pronounced clarity on each individual string. Our singer actually stopped mid-song to comment on it. It's a lovely thing this guitar is!

And this is also my first guitar with the Schaller locking tuners.... Why every guitar doesn't have these is beyond me. These are wonderful!

Amen! My first EBMM was an Axis Super Sport. The first time I played it at practice, I realized that about 45 minutes in --- I was still in perfect tune. All the while the other guitarist had tuned up at least twice. Love them!!!!
