Help! Need a jump start...

You know, I'm never inspired by ANY guitar to play guitar, its just a tool. I've always been inspired to play by hearing something so good that I just have to learn it, or play it- if I know it already. I think its asking too much of a guitar to be inspiration itself. The more you are inspired the more you'll play, the more you play the better you get, and the better you get the more fun you have!

sometimes life takes a huge toll on our brain. so if youre extremely busy at work your brain shuts down the music dept and make all those good braincells go to work at the stress dept instead.
they will come back as soon as the stress depts christmas sale is over...

just chill, sometimes thats all it takes

I agree Rob, but I'm a gear whore through and through my guitar colleciton has always exceeded my talent, I saw a guy on a documentary about guitars once, he was from Ed's guitars in Florida...

"we all like switches, we all like chrome, as we're not very developed" - or something like that - I have to have the cool colour the killer top, the look the feel and then the playing.... I'm just a weirdo...

But hey - the magic is coming back - just had a 1 hour blast and I'm top of the the world mamma - (Playing still blows, but it's pretty much back to where it was!!!!)

Good on ya Smelly....I've never spent too much time playing at home , always lived for the gigging, but I can tell ya , I've never felt more desire to do so than I do right now. As they say "You don't know what you got till it's gone"...so true of many things we take for granted. Enjoy it Buddy !
