Hello everyone, glad to be a part of this forum!
<disclaimer>When I was faced with coming up with a screen name I tried a couple things that were already taken, so I just used the first five letters of Stingray. It was only after I set up the account that realized that I was using the same name as a very popular bass player. My real name is Mike and other than being a casual fan of the Police I am in no way affiliated with them. If Sting ever did decide to use Music Man Basses and join this community I would be more than happy to sell him the screen name for a large undisclosed sum of cash and buy more Music Man basses!

Here are pictures of my new Stingray 5 HH that arrived at my house on May 5th. Excuse the low quality, they were taken with my Blackberry camera:
I have lusted after a Stingray 5 for about 10 years before I finally put together that magic combination of money and my wife's blessing. Hopefully this combination will happen at least a couple more times in my life as I am really fond of the Big-Al and the Bongo 6 HS. Also wouldn't mind having some new amplification.
Anyway, I have been playing bass for 15 years and keyboard for 35 years. I started playing keyboard when I was 5, so do the math if you want to know my age. I currently play on the worship team at my church, in a Christian rock/worship band and I also play with a couple local singer/songwriters.
There's a lot more I could say about myself but I'll stop here instead of boring everyone.
