We have had so much rain in the last 2 days, the dry ground along with the drainage cannot seem to cope.
The water is close to my house but needs to rise a few more metres before we start having to bail out.
I've taken some photos and will try posting them.

Needless to say that my F50 and BCB that was in the hallway after Thursday nights gig has been moved upstairs.

I've lived in this house for 25 years and never experienced this.

Wish me luck!!!

Hope you can stay dry Spud.
And I'm looking forward to a nice dry Wimbledon this year too. Hopefully "The Fed" will win it.

We'll be shouting for the Brit.

The high tide was at 22:00 and the low tide will be at 01:00 so the water level should go down - but it's still raining heavily

The water is damn close but I think(hope) it will be be ok.

Take care Spud...I'll send some sunny clear sky Cali vibes your way...hopefully the rain will let up soon.

Good vibes from Sunny Cal are gratefully received.

I was looking at the F1 Qualifying session from Turkey today thinking "man I wish it was nice and dry/hot over here".

It's midnight - one hour away from low tide -it's pouring down - but thank goodness the water has receded - so at least I kept my balls dry!!

That was a worrying couple of hours.

Dang Spud - hope it stops soon. It looks pretty wet over there. What's the forecast for the next few days? According to Accuweather Cardiff's not going to be out of the woods till the 10th. OK we need a Navajo anti-rain chant or similar medicine. AccuWeather.com - Cardiff, UNITED KINGDOM - 15 Day Weather Forecast - Local Weather Forecasts

May the God's part the clouds and bring some sunshine to Cardiff UK.

Hey JJ - love the link. I now have that on my favourites.

Crikey Spud, hope you and your property manage to stay safe and dry. I had no idea what was happening down there. You guys in the West country always seem to suffer with bad floods when the rest of us are basking in sunshine. Good luck.

Just an update - no water damage here (in my house) and with the low tide the water drained away during the night. It's stopped raining but we go into another high tide phase around mid day.

Just been for a walk around the neighbourhood and some people weren't quite so lucky.

Thanks for the vibes - I bleeb they worked.
