Well, I am about to be kicked out of the Bongoloid club. My Bongo is being packed up and sent to the land down under and a brand new 4HH Stingray in Black with a Tort Guard and Maple Neck is on its way to my house courtesy of Beaver at basscentral.com.

if you still manage to score a rosewood necked bongo they are nekkid. Best of both worlds ;)

Mmmmmm.... now only if they had one lying around with a fretless ebony board :).... I always ask for too much though don't I.

That sounds so tasty. But alas, while I don't mind the painted neck, I do enjoy the feel of the Stingray's neck a slight bit more, which actually I didn't at first, but now... me loves it long time.

Congrats on the new Stingray though!

StingRay HH is the way to go! :)

BTW, I am with MrM and Manfloozy... should have ordered a rosewood Bongo, and I did ask whether they'd come as fretless (expecting an ebony board) but was frowned upon by BP himself...

Thanks Oli... now I'm craving a rosewood neck+maple fretboard instrument...

And all you that sell Bongos are a strange breed, me thinks:D
No offense... Strange is good, just look at the Bongo:D
