Hey Guys,
I was surfing the Korg website and found this video of Dave I had seen an earlier one and posted it awhile ago. Man that boy can play. I really have to pick up a Dixie Dregs album. Although Dream Theater does a cover of one of their songs I believe on the new album (Special Edition Bonus Disk). Anyway here is the link...

Saw and met him at the Orlando GC for the EBMM 25th Anniversary Sessions Tour with BP, Steve Morse and Steve Lukather. He is an awesome bassist and a very down to earth guy.

I'd like to figure out how he got the fretless tone at about 2:10 on the video. You can hear the fret ring but it still had that mwah-type tonality.

It might be the fretless simulator. I have the Pandora that is the predecessor of the unit Dave is using and it has a fretless sim I believe, it's been awhile since I've used it.

I actually first met Dave back in the late 80's when he was the bassist for a NJ band called "Secret Lovers"

Secret Lovers Band

Hey BP you should ask him if he remembers THOSE days! :D

They were actually a pretty good original pop/dance band.
