Maybe, someone has the production numbers on DD ALs. Not many were produced. The DDs were a very limited run of instruments offered during a short window of opportunity and again for an even shorter window of opportunity by popular demand.

They won't make those again. They will, however, probably offer a Dargie Delight 2. I see you have posted in that thread. So, you obviously know about that.

Rosewood on the AL appeared on the 2006 Limited Edition. One rosewood fretboard was made for forumite robelinda2 as a gift. For the 2007 Limited Edition, I believe one AL was made with rosewood.

i'm new not only to this forum but to EBMM as well. prior to this past weekend, the only other one i've ever played was a steve morse. sweet axe, but that al hit me with a knockout punch. the neck was awesome and the 3 p90's sounded great!! that green reminded me of a late '60s mopar and the martini inlays were classic. i can only imagine what the 3 hum will be like!! i just might have to put in an order when it becomes available. what's a good way to stay up to date on such info?

The best way to stay up-to-date on EBMM info is to keep visiting this forum. The info comes straight from the company. It's not just straight from the company, but it's straight from the people who make the decisions ("Big Poppa," Sterling Ball himself) and the people who oversee the design and production of these things. You'll get Scott "Dargin" Ball, Dudley Gimpel ("The Genius"), and Drew ("Drubixcubed") Montell posting in here sometimes to tell us about the stuff they're doing with the instruments. You'll also get people from the customer service and accessories departments chiming in.

Nice one!

The Al's with a rosewood fretboard were offered on the Dargie Delights and on the 2006 Limited Edition AL's. So they are pretty rare.

why YES!!! yes, frank, that is the culprit.:D the guitar that changed everything for me! i was perfectly happy in prs/gibson world until now!! that guitar was perfect! sweet neck, superb workmanship, colour, inlays..............perfect! the al's body is extremely comfortable IMHO. i know when i mention EBMM in the past, folks usually talk about the JP or an older EVH. even though i've known of their existance for years, i had no idea how awesome the al was. talk about flying under the radar!
