Are these some possible options for the JP series?

Hey everyone, this is my first post here. I'm usually on SS.org, I think I'm "edusty201087" over there, but Dusty was open here, so I'm just Dusty now

Anyways, I was wondering a few things. One is, are there currently any plans to have a Sterling JP7, to accommodate the 7 string community? Also, I've heard rumblings about a possible ebony board option. Is this true? Last but not least, if the aforementioned IS true, would a maple board be possible as well? I'd love a Stealth JP7 with a Maple board.

P.S. What's up with no one having JP7's in stock now? It's all BFR's. They're nice and all - don't get me wrong - but I certainly can't afford one, whereas the normal JP7 is closer to my price range. Is the model being discontinued? I wouldn't be so confused but I haven't heard anything about it and the JP7 is still on the website so... What's the deal guys?

about you 7 string sterling, i'm not sure if you're gonna get it but you're halfway in the right place. don't forget sterling is a somewhat separate enterprise. personally, i think it's a good idea; since the EBMM JP7 is a bit pricey (although totally worth it), in particullar to anyone who doesn't play 7 string all the times or to budding guitarists.

Oh...I thought he meant a Sterling Silver JP7. That's no problem with a rosewood board. Ebony? Not so much unless you get a Koa BFR JP7 or a Dargie Delight 2 JP7.

yea... you have to remember that even though there are a couple of JPs with ebony boards available.. it is not an option. I.e. you can't get the dargie 2 with a rosewood board too, and you can't order a JP with an ebony board unless it's dargie 2, koa, or I think the stealth. So, likely no maple anytime soon at all.
