Hey, I've already looked around these forums for a while, but I decided to register, because I had this question. Recently I found out about the new pickups for the JP series that I'm a bit more excited about than the old ones. So I wanted to ask if there are JP BFR 6's available yet with the new pickups and a ruby finish in any store that can ship the guitar to Europe, Finland. I'm looking a price of 2800$ or under. Thanks. :)

New pickups have not been put into production yet.

You can wait, or find one with the current specs and order the p'ups separately when they're available.

That's strange, since I read about it in a topic called "JP is using new pickups, will they be in the new JP?" Dargin responded: "All JP's that ship after June 26th will have the new pickups." Or did I misunderstood it? Anyways, if that is the case, I should go with the older ones then.

EDIT: Too late. :<

Welcome! Too bad, even if any store have one, they will not ship it out to you. Courtesy of EBMM's dealers agreement.

That sucks, since it's very hard to find a BFR with the older pickups alone here in Europe. And even if I find one, they cost over 4000 dollars. So, I'm definitely not waiting to buy one with the new pickups to come to Europe. Guess I'll have to go with the older ones instead. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to have the one or the other. :p

by ordering a new one the seller hasn't on stock, you have special leverage. you can tell the guy "hey, it's better to make a bad sale, which only costs you a phone call at best, than no sale at all". i know you can get BFR JP6s for around 3500 in yurp. besides, what's a dream guitar worth?

The thing is, I could get the same guitar for a lower price from America, even with the delivery cost and taxes. I was just asking if there was a JP BFR available with Crunch Lab and LiquiFire yet. And yes, money does matter.
