Was there such a thing as a body contour on 70's stingrays?

Im looking at a 77 stingray that has a body contour on the top of the body where your arm would rest. Does anyone know if this could be original? Or has the poor thing been molested? Thanks all

I believe in those days the Stingray only had rounded edges but not scalloped conotours

yep, the old ones had slab bodies, i'd try and get the price down a bit, it's had a refin and some body work for sure.
