I am going to put the official flier up in a few hours. :D

Scott, COOL!! Since it's a BFR, is it going to have the 12th fret BFR inlay?

Thanx man, looks good. Glenn |B)

You're not too far behind :D Matching me just about even, but with leftys.

LOL. Yeah but this is it for me. The baby is due in 45 days so the BFR Dargie II (is that how I'm suppose to refer to it?) will be my last purchase for a while.

I played a 25th upside down last week when I went to GC to pick up my 7 string, it was great. Unfortunately there is just too much going on with that guitar for me to really get a feel for it upside down.

The one you posted looks like a non-BFR JP6. The only glimpse we got of the BFR was the painted neck (very last photo).

I'd also like to know if I can get the JP inlays instead of the oval DD2 inlays.

my first BFR with be a dargie 2 with ebony board!?!?!?!?! holy ****. hmmmm I don't have a 7 string yet.

Go for it lefty!

Me too. Are we assuming that the BFR's come with the ebony board?

As bad as I felt about my last minute cancellation of my 6 string Walnut JP BFR, I did it just in case these were available as BFR's and I'm so glad I did. I would be so bummed to have not had the opportunity to grab one of these. I never thought I would love a finished neck the way I do on the BFR's.

Do it! You know you want to!

Gotta buy a house first, we are in process at this moment, but after that I am in!! They said that the ordering window for this one will be longer than the last Dargie. Hell, if it's Petrucci's permanent new guitar maybe it will stay in regular production. :)

If that's the case, I'm a happy man!

Confused by the pics. Is there going to be a standard JP and a BFR version? Looks like painted and nonpainted necks in the pics above?

A house? Pfffff, what good is a house if you have no Dargie Delight II to put in it?

Yeah, Dargin confirmed a BFR version as well a few pages back.

Looks like both, Lou.

*EDIT* Scott confirmed BFRs will be available to order.

Will they announce on the boards when the ordering window is open? That would allow my salesman at GC to keep his sanity, and not have to screen his calls. :D

Completely unrelated comment of the day: My Bad Monkey pedal just arrived, and it's the best $40 I've spent in a while.

Scott (Dargin) said he was going to post the flyer in a "few hours" so I'm thinking we'll get details soon.

Hmm. It doesn't say anything about the BFR there.

Highlights include: two tone iridescent green finish "Carmel Apple Delight", maple neck with ebony fingerboard, custom oval white mother of pearl inlays with paua abalone inserts and black pickguard (where applicable). The Dargie Limited Edition is available on all instruments except the Steve Morse Y2D, Axis, and Axis Super Sport models. This stunning and striking green finish with ornate custom inlays is destined to be an instant collectors item. Be sure to place your order now!

Scott already said it could be ordered as a BFR, but since the flier makes mention of the maple neck with ebony fretboard, could we get some confirmation as to whether or not the BFR version will also have the ebony board?

I will be at GC when they open on Monday. :D

Yes you can order the BFR and the only difference will be no BFR inlay (you get the others instead) and the finish.
