That's not enough for us, we want everything in between!!! Mrs. Ball will undertsand - won't she??

Gee, come to think of it, I wish someone, anyone, would ask me to be there friend on Facebook. My wife won't even let me be her friend!!

I guess it's back to practicing my guitar.

BP,
I clocked the sig and removed my request, but how about setting up a 'become a fan of BP page' - that way the friend requests can pile in and get accepted and you still get to have a life?

I imagine you'll get requests from beyond this forum, no?

Facebook is cool, but it can get out of control. I had to deactivate my account because I kept adding friends without thinking about the consequences.
I was teaching at a school and when I left the students wanted to add me as their friend. Then, when I moved to my new school, I found out that many of my old students were friends with my present students.

Not so good, when I got to see them getting up to all kinds of teenage antics that could get them kicked out of school:eek:

Ignorance is bliss! Certain positions don't mix well with "open" facebook accounts.

I can well appreciate Big Poppa's request to keep his facebook as private as possible. Good call!!!

I thought if I play your guitars - I own you, hmmmm my fault.;);)

Reminds me of a customer who tried over 30 min to squeeze my private phone number out of a friend of mine to get a single b-string on easter sunday.
Bought my friend dinner...

I was guessing Dizzy and maybe Smelly might be one of the culprits!

Nahh Rob..... try again ;)

Sheesh, BP and I are co-admins on the EBMM Facebook Page and I haven't sent him a request.

If I ever need to contact him I just hit the speed dial on my wife's phone.....

YES! Similar situation happened to me. No good. Best to keep Facebook for your personally well known friends and family members. I spent a good day deleting hundreds of friends because of this.

We get an acting CEO that comes and talks and hangs out with us here on the forums, which rocks. In the context of any business/consumer relationship, nothing even on similar lines would occur.

What's Facebook?

jack

Facebook is a free-access social networking website that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc. Users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. The website's name stems from the colloquial name of a book given to incoming students at Zuckerberg's high school alma mater, Phillips Exeter Academy. The book shows the faces and names of the school's students and faculty.

Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc etc. Who has time for it all anyway? I've got a few forums to check and a soundclick and boy that is enough to keep me busy. Let's hope BP sticks around here where the good guys are.
