So what prompted the move to B'star? Was it the need for more flexibility channelwise or maybe that Cornford seem a little off radar of late?

I have a Cornford Hurricane and love it but sometimes wish it had a switchable clean channel instead of having to knob twiddle...but I also own a Blackstar HT-5 for home practise. Both great amps and both only ever get EBMM's plugged into them!...

Well the move was a number of reasons...I have a lot of Cornford gear...2 MK 50's, serial number 1 and 10, a Harlequin, one of the 1st 10, a proto type un serial numbered carera, and a 50 watt Roadhouse Head, in a 30 watt chasis, so smaller..serial number 3...not production...this one was made by Cornford designer, and my good freind martin Kidd....I dont really wanna go into too much detail..but I need to know that if i play a show in Chillie, or Brazil..the amp I use is there!!...sometimes on tour if we are on planes all the time and dont have trucks, amps are hired, and you never know what you are gonna get...plus also flexibility...I love the Blackstar features...plus they are great guys, and are running adds with me in, we have done several clinic plus the promo vid..so it was a good business move...Martin Kidd who designed all the Cornford amps is one f my best friends, and we have spoken about him maybe building me some custom stuff...but for now..its Blackstar for me...and EBMM....but that part goes with out saying haha..Jamie

Awesome stuff, Jamie. Thanks for sharing! I plan on checking out your album.

Did you by chance have a video quite some time ago with the white Silo playing SRV's Lenny? I know I've seen such a video...I suspect it was you.
