I think I liked the neck better too, the painted feel is actually smooth and nice!!!!

This is something I have been saying since I got mine. The statement really can't be fully comprehended until you experience it. I feel the neck is faster and smoother playing than the unfinished neck.

Its weird, I found afterwards when I went back to an AL that I didnt like it as much, and wanted to go back to the JP neck feel!!! Crazy! A BFR JP is on the cards, though I dont know if I like ebony, the rosewood board is so nice and grainy and woody, but I like Koa and the Dargie too! Leaning towards a PBB BFR JP.

What about Dizzy's BFR? Did I miss something?? Crazy queenslanders..... I'm considering ordering a PBB BFR, but then again green is nice, and so is purple, so hard!

i think dizz wanted to off load his to get a DD2... not sure whether he is still going ahead with it or not...
go for amethyst burst! looks hot! :D

Two days ago I decided it was going to go.

Yesterday I picked it up and played it just to for the sake of it after playing the 20th's and Luke for so long.

Awesome axe - early run with the matching burst HS too.
(I think they come with Black HS's apart from the walnut & tobacco Burst now ?)

I'm screwed - what a dilemma.

I just don't get rid of guitars unless I truly don't like playing them.
(Hence the offload of my Axis & ASS).

But this is a sweet guitar - the painted neck is a nice change.
The solid weight of them is great too.

It may even end up with a DD2 friend.

Oh, and so might the 20th's

Actually I was just thinking about the guitar today actually, someone sent me a youtube message saying one of the vids I did with that guitar had great tone, then I started thinking "maybe I should keep it?", but I know my RW BFR Silo Special is a winner.

haha no you dont want to keep it :p that guitar is exactly what im looking for, and i love the necks! :) i think it was one of your vids that turned me onto it. then i found one at a local guitar shop and fell in love with the feel and tone. could it be a new no1??
