So I think I want another Luke...

I recently traded my Radiance Red Luke to Lonney for a GREAT Silhouette, but I must admit I really miss the Luke... I think I must buy another....

I am thinking either the Cabernet Pearl, or the Olive Gold. I found a few pics of the Olive Gold but not much out there on the Cabernet Pearl (some look red, some look purple, can't really tell what it looks like)...

Anyone have any real life Lukes in either finish?

The Cabernet Pearl is a real rich colour and looks good in any light. There are some metallic in it to that makes it sparkle.....

There is no wrong choice with those two specific colors...thay are both must haves for me...and on a Luke....too sexy!

I can see why you miss it....I just came from Rehearsal and it wailed on everything from the Barenaked Ladies to the Black Crowes and the Doors to Dwight Yoakam ....This is the MOST versatile beast i have ever played ...I love my Al's but those EMg PUPS get me into a Dirt territory that i cant cant with the Single coils....So when i need the Single coil sound i grab the AL...and again the transition between AL to Luke is seemless for me....This is truly working mans axe!

Mmhmm. It is. The Silo is sure nice too though. I have never really had hardtail guitars before. Love it. But I sure do miss the Luke. And my wife just got a new job after her teaching job was cut... so... Gotta do it!!!!

Yip i agree the Silo is a Beast as well...but the 24 frets and the thinner neck always threw me off ...i think Silo Special would be better suited for me..

Wrong guitar but here are a few Cabernet pics. I really like the Olive Gold too! And the Silver! And the True Gold! And Black!

Ok just face it, everything looks good on Luke, except bursts imo.
